Squidnet.co.uk end user license agreement (EULA)
This End-User License Agreement (EULA) is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or a single entity) and the mentioned author (Squidnet.co.uk) of this Software for the software product identified above, which includes computer software and may include associated media, printed materials, and "online" or electronic documentation ("SOFTWARE PRODUCT").
By installing, copying, or otherwise using the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, you agree to be bounded by the terms of this EULA.
If you do not agree to the terms of this EULA, do not use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.
SOFTWARE PRODUCT LICENSE
Squidnet Chat Room is a free-use web application under the freeware status, and as such is intended for personal, commercial use, non-profit organization and educational purpose.
GRANT OF LICENSE
This EULA grants you the following rights: usage of the software for an unlimited amount of times.
DESCRIPTION OF OTHER RIGHTS AND LIMITATIONS
The Squidnet Chat Room generates user-made content as all users are eligible to submit their own content (viewable to all other users, if not a private message) within the following guidelines:
0: All users will acknowledge and respect that the Squidnet Chat Room is almost entirely user-moderated.
1: All users have the ability to send messages to all other users.
2: All users have the ability to send private messages to other users.
3: All users have the ability to send image messages to all other users.
4: All users have the ability to use client-side moderation and hide any unwanted content.
5: All users have the ability to report other users for disruptive or malicious behaviour.
6: All users have the ability to use client-side moderation and block any users who are deemed a nuisance.
7: Content submissions containing images, links or texts of adult content such as nudity, sexual themes, fetishistic material, NSFW content, pornography, extreme profanity, sexually gratifying material or improper clothing are strictly prohibited, and if reported, offending users will have appropriate action taken against them.
8: Content submissions depicting themes of racism, sexism, xenophobia, homophobia, enforcing extreme political views, physical or mental abuse and discrimination of any kind, or any submissions with the intent of causing grief to other users are strictly prohibited, and if reported, offending users will have appropriate action taken against them.
9: Content submissions with links or URLS to external pages with malicious content such as viruses, malware, spyware, bloatware, Trojan viruses or any other content deemed malicious are strictly prohibited. Squidnet holds no responsibility for the actions of online users.
10: All users must be aware that they are able to follow user-submitted links, but do so at their own risk.
11: "Spamming" content submissions is the act of submitting over 12 submissions of no relevance over the course of 30 seconds. Users may find "spamming" to be disruptive and will use client-side content moderation on users deemed to be "spamming". Any users found to be "spamming", if reported will have appropriate action taken against them.
GUIDELINES FOR USE
Users are reminded to take extra caution not to disclose any personal information by which they could be easily identified, such as full name, address, telephone number, date of birth or any password.
